Max Renn: Do you know a show called ‘Videodrome’?
Masha: Video what?
Max Renn: Videodrome. Like video circus, video arena. Do you know it?
Masha: No.
Max Renn: It’s just torture and murder. No plot, no characters. Very, very realistic. I think it’s what’s next.

Cosmopolis (2012)
Just finished watching … a strange unique film, a bit surreal - intelligent but also very distant and stagey. This film drifts into this weird nether zone where the words become fluid and dreamy reminiscent of Joe Franks radio dramas and audio performances. Not an easy film and not recommended for everyone. I enjoyed it but I think in the future I may end chopping up some of these monologues and get more pleasure out of them as pure aural stimuli.
